On these tutorial we create some graphs for view oracle performance problems and IO .<\/p>\n

First step is install oracle docker on Oracle Linux – 6 or 7. My case i going to study hard to get OCP on linux, and now we use Oracle Linux 7.2, please follow:<\/p>\n

Installation<\/h2>\n

To install Docker on Oracle Linux 6:<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Enable the ol6_addons<\/span> channel in \/etc\/yum.repos.d\/public-yum-ol6.repo<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Run:
    # yum install docker<\/span> <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    To install Docker on Oracle Linux 7:<\/h3>\n
      \n
    1. Enable the ol7_addons<\/span> channel in \/etc\/yum.repos.d\/public-yum-ol7.repo<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Run:
      # yum install docker<\/span> <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      \n

      Enable btrfs support<\/h2>\n
      Docker uses device-mapper devices as the default storage engine. To switch to using btrfs as the storage engine, ensure that \/var\/lib\/docker<\/span> is mounted on a btrfs filesystem. Check Chapter 5<\/a> of the Oracle Linux Administrator’s Solutions Guide<\/a> for more details on how to create and mount btrfs filesystems.<\/div>\n
      To enable btrfs support for Docker on Oracle Linux:<\/strong><\/div>\n
        \n
      1. Ensure that \/var\/lib\/docker is on a btrfs filesystem<\/li>\n
      2. Edit \/etc\/sysconfig\/docker<\/span> and add “-s btrfs”<\/span> to the other_args fields.<\/li>\n
      3. Restart the Docker daemon:
        # service docker restart<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Enabling and starting Docker<\/h2>\n
        To enable the Docker daemon on system boot and start Docker on OL6:<\/div>\n
        # chkconfig docker on<\/span><\/div>\n
        # service docker start<\/span><\/div>\n
        To enable the Docker daemon on system boot and start Docker on OL7:<\/div>\n
        # systemctl enable docker.service<\/span><\/div>\n
        # systemctl start docker.service<\/span><\/div>\n

            Checking Docker status<\/h2>\n
            To check that Docker is up and running on OL6:<\/div>\n
            # service docker status<\/span><\/div>\n
            To check that Docker is up and running on OL7:<\/div>\n
            # systemctl status docker.service<\/span><\/div>\n
            You can also get more information from Docker itself:<\/div>\n
            # docker info<\/span><\/div>\n
            # docker version<\/span><\/div>\n
            Once you have Docker up and running, follow the upstream Docker documentation<\/a> to get started. <\/div>\n
